During the 1960s, the company began to focus on industrial work, and not long after, institutional buildings beginning with the construction of churches, schools and related structures.
During the following decades, THP concentrated on institutional, commercial, and industrial construction. Over a period of many years, the company developed a specific expertise in interior renovations, reconstruction and restoration. THP has focused on corporate and institutional owners in education,health care, office interiors, defense, high tech, food and chemical industries. THP has remained in the Connecticut market with specific projects in Westchester County, New York.

THP employs its own skilled, full-time labor in the area of field supervision, foremen, carpenters, masons and laborers. The company owns, maintains and operates a complete equipment spread for trucking, excavation, and hoisting, as well as all types of construction support tools and equipment.
